Jared Vitemb Joins Ruiz Foods as SVP, General Counsel

FRISCO, Texas (July 13, 2026) – Ruiz Food Products, Inc., the largest frozen Mexican food manufacturer in the United States, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jared Vitemb as senior vice president, general counsel. Vitemb joins Ruiz Foods from Farmer Brothers Co. where he served as vice president, general counsel, chief compliance officer, and corporate secretary. In his previous role, his responsibilities included overseeing the company’s legal, communications, risk/safety, compliance, and human resources functions.

Vitemb has extensive experience as a business attorney in both large law firms and in-house roles, with experience advising corporate boards and management teams on a wide array of legal matters.

In his role at Ruiz Foods, Vitemb will lead the companywide legal function and serve as the primary legal advisor to the CEO, Board of Directors and executive leadership team. Partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel, he will oversee regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and corporate governance. His oversight will also span contract negotiations, litigation management, and the protection of the company’s intellectual property and brand portfolio.

Vitemb holds a bachelor’s degree and a law degree from the University of Texas.
