Job Title: Engineering CAD Technician
COMPENSATION: $80k – $95k/year (DOE)
LOCATION: Remote, travel required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Uses CAD software to provide drafting and design support to Engineers by preparing routine layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches & diagrams. Details to include all views and dimensions necessary to manufacture.
- Creates X-Referenced drawings and maintains information regarding changes to database.
- Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings.
- Responsible for setting up and maintaining an organized plant As-Builds and CAD Library.
REQUIREMENTS:
- CAD Designer/Drafter with 5-7 year experience in Industrial setting preferably the CPG Industry. Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- A strong experience with use of AutoCAD is a must, and the skillset of performing file conversions and working in SOLIDWORKS is preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.
- Strong understanding of invoicing, collections, deduction management, and logistics operations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to resolve complex customer issues effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
