Job Title: Senior Manager Supply Planning
COMPENSATION:
$110k – $150k (DOE)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the Master Supply Planning Function
- Weekly & Monthly Production Plans
- Daily, Weekly & Monthly Distribution Plans
- Frequent MRP Reconciliation with Procurement team
- Guide plans to meet Service and Cost Targets
Manage the Tools and Processes for Weekly & Monthly Master Supply Planning
- Facility and line settings (master data)
- Capabilities (items on what lines)
- Calendars (run days and shifts available)
- Capacity (line speeds, efficiencies, etc)
- Items & Inventory (Safety Stocks, EOQ, Max OH, Hold times)
- Set Process for Handling of Demand & Capacity Exceptions (Builds, LTOs, PMs, etc.)
- Own the Daily, Weekly and Monthly Planning Models in the Infor Toolset
Support Capacity Planning For the organization
- S&OP Supply Planning
- Data Exports & Reports
- Scenario modeling as needed
Work Cross-Functionally to With Supply Planning Partners To Achieve Full network Benefits
- Operations
- Demand Planning
- Sales/Marketing
- Transportation
- Financial Planning
Other projects or tasks as assigned including, but not limited to:
- Annual Business Planning and Long-Range Planning
- SKU Runouts & Rationalization
- SKU Innovation Start Ups
- Track & Publish KPIs
Interface with all levels of organization, and deliver presentations and make recommendations
Manage a team of 4 Plant Scheduler/Deployers
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 15 or more years in a related supply chain/planning/manufacturing role
- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Master Production Planning (tools & processes)
- Constraint-based Advanced Planning and Optimization Tools Experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities/projects
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as presentation skills
- Advanced skills in Excel to support plan analytics and generate ad hoc reports
- Strong cross functional collaboration skills, and the ability to develop strong relationships within the organization to gain support and achieve results
- Comfortable in a fast-paced company environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload and achieve deadlines based upon changing priorities
- Demonstrated strong aptitude in analysis, root causes identification, and problem solving
- Able to synthesize information into a presentation appropriate to the organizational-level of the audience. Able to summarize information concisely and communicate it using appropriate medium
- Food/CPG experience preferred
- APICS, IBF, CPIM or CSCP Certification preferred
EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelors or better.
EXPERIENCE:
Required: 15 years: Related supply chain/planning/manufacturing role
