Payroll Coordinator

Job Title: Payroll Coordinator

COMPENSATION: $26.00 – $31.00/HR

SCHEDULE: Days

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintaining accurate and complete employee records across the organization
• Time and Attendance reporting and accuracy
• Calculating and processing of weekly payroll
• Preparing and verifying payment records
• Preparing payroll reports
• Ensuring all payroll activities are and remain fully compliant with company policy and relevant legislation.

SKILLS:

• Accounting degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with HRIS programs (UKG Experience preferred).
• Proven track record of detail focus and accuracy
• Expert computer literacy
• Proficiency in Microsoft products and skilled in Excel
• Ability to work under deadline pressure.
• Excellent administrative skills
• Working knowledge of tax law, labor law, FLSA, and other relevant legislation (CA experience a plus!).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Prefer associates or better in accounting or related field.
• Experience: Require 2 years related experience or training and prefer 1 year experience with HRIS (UKG preferred).
