Marketing Coordinator

Job Title: Marketing Coordinator

COMPENSATION:

$25 – $30 (DOE)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage marketing budget, invoices, POs for department. Monitor and track team spending, and manage funding process. Manage, track, & process retail/foodservice invoices and POs and marketing Cost Centers, and re-forecast every month.
  • Manage promotions calendar, coupons and update and track promotions timelines, ensuring team meets deadlines. Create barcodes for all retail promotions, shopper marketing promotions, and consumer-complaints coupons. Lead creation of coupon artwork (coupons only)
  • Lead creative development for Digital Coupon Programs (banner ads, brand page). Track and analyze coupon redemptions. Manage monthly competitive promotions presentation/report (Marx Media)
  • Lead cross-functional team to develop and manage IRC plans and execution. Co-Execute Shopper Marketing Promotions with Sales team.
  • Develop barcodes and redemption budgets for shopper marketing promotions and coordinate development of artwork with appropriate brand lead.
  • Manage vendor activity and contracts for department.
  • Coordinating with project managers to deliver packaging/product data for new and updated products to vendors (Kwikee, Nielsen, IRI, and WMT)
  • Work with Sales team to ensure all new product forms are filled out properly prior to product launch.
  • Create Product Classes for all Retail / Foodservice new products. Track and Manage creation of new Products.
  • Order office depot supplies for department and manage inventories. Manage website updates, including new products, graphics, job posts, etc. Update/distribute monthly Nielsen reports for base team (Charts, Fact Sheets)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a business/marketing environment. Understanding of marketing tactics and execution.
  • Excellent organization, oral/ written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook)
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers and other departments.
  • Ability to follow-up and anticipate needs within the department.

EDUCATION:

  • Required: Bachelors or better.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Required: 2 years: Related Experience and/or training in business/marketing environment
