Job Title: Talent Development Specialist

Location: Denison, Texas

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and implement the following programs: orientation, leadership/professional development, on-the-job training, assessment tools and interventions, and survey administration
  • Conduct and coordinate a variety of training sessions, workshops and seminars
  • Coordinate training schedules and facilitate training sessions accordingly
  • Design training using techniques such as classroom learning, demonstrations, one-on-one coaching or online learning
  • Test and review created materials, resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary
  • Maintains and delivers new employee orientation programs, including HR Intake Forms used in the recruiting, onboarding, and the foundational training of team members.
  • Identify and assess current and future training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals, and consultation with stakeholders
  • Evaluate the competency levels of individual trainees to enable the support of employees with different knowledge and skill levels
  • Prepares training reports and creates presentations for Birthday Clubs as needed
  • Evaluate the outcomes of training sessions and overall effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them
  • Enters information on training database as assigned.
  • Maintain record of trainees’ progress and achievements in LMS


  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Development or related field and 2 years of Training experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Advanced Excel a plus
  • Knowledgeable in the levels of training evaluation, andragogy, ADDIE and SAM, the neuroscience of learning
  • APT CPTD certification a plus
  • Bilingual English / Spanish preferred
