Job Title: Refrigeration Technician
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, Ammonia & Freon refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair boilers, compressors & waste water treatment systems.
- Diagnoses problems and effects repairs.
- Performs preventive maintenance and inspects equipment for potential problems.
- Makes recommendations for modification of equipment.
- Orders parts, chemical and materials for refrigeration/heating and air-conditioning equipment and maintains documentation and schematics of all systems.
- Responsible for daily startup of system, observe operations, read and record gauges and instruments.
- Adjust mechanisms such as valves, controls and pumps to control the level of fluid, pressure and temperature in the system.
- Installs wiring to connect components to electric power source.
- Maintains knowledge, understanding and adherence to safety policies, PSM, RETA, USDA,
- QA, HACCP and Sanitation rules and regulation, and company policies.
- Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position.
