DUTIES AND RESPOSIBLITIES:
  • Print specifications and weight control charts from the computer daily.
  • Review packaging/production models and plan the line layout accordingly.
  • Verifies the line is set up to meet the labor standard specifications.
  • Oversees set-up of equipment at start up and monitors equipment during operations.
  • Addresses adjustment to equipment and verifies equipment is operating properly.
  • Review next day’s packaging/production schedule and plans accordingly.
  • Monitors finished product specifications: product integrity, and appearance.
  • Assist in completing employees’ action records and monitor GMPs and safety procedures.
  • Conduct accident investigation and generate proper documentation.
  • Verify compliance of Company and USDA standards through daily audits.
  • Acts as an assistant to the Supervisor who is responsible for making all employment-related decisions for Team Members.

 

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • Must have good communication skills in both writing and verbal.
  • Familiar with production/packaging environment.
  • Excellent attendance record.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and GMPs.
  • Must have proven leadership skills and be able to lead a team.
