Job Title: 2nd Shift Quality Assurance Supervisor

Job Details:


  • Responsible for Supervising QA auditor team in cross functional roles of the plant or other areas as assigned.
  • Follow up on all inspection and testing of incoming raw and packaging materials
  • Maintains adherence to company policies, safety standards, Quality Assurance HACCP/USDA standards and good housekeeping practices.
  • Arranges to have appropriate QA, microbiological, incoming raw and packaging material records prepared and maintained.
  • Responsible for weekly and monthly reports to support operations teams including receiving
  • Assures efficient and economical utilization of materials, improvement of QA methods and elimination of wasteful practices within the department.
  • Trains QA technicians and other team members as needed.
  • Responsible for other QA Teams or shifts as need arises, must be cross trained in other areas
  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 2-years food manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Or High School Diploma /GED and food manufacturing experience, minimum 3-years.
  • Supervisory experience in a food-manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to communicate well with all levels.
  • Good math skills, ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must have above average computer skills in Microsoft – Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • RedZone Experience a plus.
  • Must have good understanding of HACCP, GMP(s), SOP(s) and Food Safety Principles.
